Upcoming Events

Evening Book Group -- Wednesday, December 14th at 6:30 pm.  We will be discussing Heaven is for Real by Todd Burpo.

Visit from Santa -- Monday, December 19th at 6:00 pm.  Christmas stories will be read and Santa will be available for pictures.  Don’t forget your camera! Remember to drop off at the library a wrapped gift from Santa for your child with their name clearly marked on it before the program starts.  Parents PLEASE sign your child up for the event by calling 265-8245 or by visiting the library. 

Happy Holidays! - The library will be closed Saturday, December 24th and Monday, December 26th for Christmas.  We will be closed Saturday, December 31st and Monday, January 2nd for New Years. 

Readers Group - Wednesday, January 18th at 1:15 pm.  This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.  This monthly discussion group highlights the fiction and non-fiction titles read recently by participants.  The group welcomes new members and is open to all people.  Call the library for more details at 265-8245.

Evening Book Group - Wednesday, January 25th at 6:30 pm.   We will be discussing Getting to Happy by Terry McMillan. 

Winter Wednesdays - Wednesday, February 1st and Wednesday, February 8th starting at 11 am.  Celebrating its 9th year the Friends of the Library transform the library into a café setting for which homemade soups, desserts, beverages, and quality used books are sold. Food may be eaten in the library or taken out. Winter Wednesdays have a café style dining from 11 am to 1:30 pm (or until the soup runs out!) with takeout available from 1:30 pm to 8 pm.

If you would like to donate soup, desserts, or your time please call the library at 265-8245.  We welcome the donation of quality used books as well. Rain, snow, or shine, these events will go on. We hope to see you in February!

Surprise Saturday- February 11th from 11 am to 1 pm - The library hosts a special day just for children and their families.  Surprise Saturday is a children’s day of fun events such as face painting, crafts, and storytelling. Every year we have a special guest come to take pictures with the children, in the past we have had Dora the Explorer, Tigger and Spiderman. Soup, desserts and books are sold this day as well so come hungry!
